The first game in Capcom's blockbuster survivalhorror series designed with a realtime 3D polygonal engine, Resident Evil 4 is freed from the camera limitations and static backgrounds of past titles. Players guide Leon S. Kennedy, the lead protagonist in Resident Evil 2, in an adventure taking them deep within the Umbrella Corporation. The result is a battle for survival as players confront mutated biological experiments, zombies, and other creatures of suspicious origin. Leon comes equipped with a revolver but will still be able to find various other weapons along the way. Environments include rainsoaked alleyways, decrepit sewers, and castlelike structures
